First time I'd visited since their major remodeling, and I was pleasantly surprised. We had their thanksgiving brunch, which was delicious. The staff let us linger at our table, while we caught up relatives.
I visited Liberty Mountain for a weekend getaway with my friends. We were afraid of the slopes so we decided to go snow tubing instead. We had so much fun! Unfortunately, we visited on a warmer day (thanks global warming); however, there was still lots of slippery snow that helped us to slide down the hill too well. The slope attendants were really nice with positive spirits. They even offered to add an extra "thrill" by spinning guests before pushing the tubes down the hill. The prices for the slopes were pretty cheap. I would certainly recommend this place for some weekend fun.
Drove here for a wedding and it was a beautiful location. Not too far from Gettysburg if you would like to see some extoric places in Pennsylvania. The amenities here are amazing great staff great food and during the winter the snow would make this look beautiful.
I've been here to ski, golf, and eat for years and it's usually very enjoyable. The renovations to the lodge the last couple years have made a huge difference. The food and amenities are now quite good. For skiing it's typical southern east coast, which is not ideal. White Tail has a better mountain and terrain but Liberty is still enjoyable. The golf course is descent and doesn't get too crowded. If you like beer the lodge can't be missed with their wise selection of brews, some quite unique.
Skied today, great conditions, good snow making. Would be nice if they offered families a break on lift tickets/rentals. A bottle of water is $3.09 after you pay $500 for a family of four to ski for a day
